A fire on board is one of the most worrisome situations for the vessel and its crew.
This is an ideal course for those who want to have a greater knowledge in the operation of fire fighting on board with practice with extinguishers in a real fire situation.
During the course, and under the supervision of an accredited instructor, you will learn to do your first combat with ABC and CO2 fire extinguishers. Simulations are also carried out with a Fire-Safety Mantle, which is one of the mandatory safety equipment on board.

Requeirements
Minimum age of 16 years. Minors can participate if accompanied by a responsible adult.
This is a recommended course for all of our Local Skipper students or higher. It is suitable for anyone who wanted to learn how to make efficient use of fire extinguishers. It is a fundamental course for all who sail.
